2007 Mardi Gras Parade
What an outstanding Mardi Gras Parade. We had great weather and the crowd’s response to our Bus was just magical. Thank you to the 58 guys and Mrs Madrigal who made up our Parade contingent. I received a lovely thank you card from Neil, one of the five Queenslanders [from Brisbane] for a most enjoyable Mardi Gras. The Sydney Star Observer had an Official Parade Guide of the Mardi Gras Parade and in it we were listed with the following words :- “19. WE LOVE …SEQUINS – Mature Age Gays Girls just wanna have fun … but move over Cyndi Lauper because so do Mature Age Gays! Look out for their opened roofed double decker bus and yes, it will be sequinned.”
